To give a green colour to the bronze you have to patinate it. You can use a chemical process, but there is also a more natural process, which I prefer.
You can use Guinness for instance.
But don’t put the Guinness directly onto the bronze. First you have to drink it.
From the 17th of July till the 28th of September I will be attending Studio Project 19 in Scotland. This two-part residency is a partnership of Market Gallery in Glasgow and the Scottish Sculpture Workshop In Lumsden. In the first month at SSW I will develop new work followed by five weeks at Market Gallery where I will work on an exhibition. The preview is the 25th of September. The exhibition is open till the 24th of October.
